They were awarded the jubilee medal “To the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945”. The decree on awarding them was signed By President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. One of these events was organized in the meeting hall of the main Department of culture of the velayat by the velayat khakimlik, major public organizations and the military Commissariat of the velayat of the Ministries of defense of Turkmenistan. Here, the heroes of the day, along with the anniversary medal, were presented with bouquets of fresh flowers and gifts. And the masters of art performed songs of the war years and modern works. Artists of the state musical drama theater of Lebab named after Seyitnazar Seydi showed a literary and artistic composition dedicated to the war years.

Representatives of local authorities, public organizations and military commissariats visited the veterans of the great Patriotic war, the wives of war veterans and labor veterans who worked in the rear during the war, in the house, handed them a commemorative medal, bouquets of fresh flowers and gifts.

A total of 894 people were awarded the jubilee medal in velayat. That’s how many people who survived those difficult years remained among us.
