During the five months of this year, the farms of the Lebap velayat produced 8822 tons of vegetables, 575.3 tons of fruit, and 8097 tons of potatoes.

This means that compared to the corresponding period last year, the production of vegetables increased by 46.7%, fruit — by 3%, potatoes — by 18.4%. Animal breeders of the velayat also achieved good results. Over the past five months, 55,195 tons of live meat, 222,3 thousand tons of milk, and more than 92.5 million eggs were produced, which is equal to last year’s figures.

A significant share of livestock and poultry production is accounted for by individual farms.
