Two carpets woven in Halac became the winners of the contest “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry”
Two carpets woven in the Halach enterprise of artistic carpet weaving of the State Association ” Türkmenhaly “were recognized as winners of the competition” Türkmeniň Altyn asyry”, announced by the President of Turkmenistan.
Both carpets are called “Trapesiýa” and are woven in the second workshop. Gulyalek dzhumamuradovna Gurbanseyidova leads one team of the shop, consisting of 44 carpet-makers. She was awarded a special certificate and 30,800 (thirty thousand eight hundred) manats by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
The team, led by Aigul Kudaibergenovna Malacova consists of 48 people. She, along with a special certificate received from 33,600 (thirty-three thousand six hundred) manats.
In may of this year, several carpet workers of the workshop were awarded the title “Honored carpet worker of Turkmenistan”.
