The first vaccine will be ready by August 14
The first coronavirus vaccine was successfully tested. Tests conducted at Sechenov University (Russia) have shown that it is safe for the human body.
The vaccine was developed by scientists at the national research center for epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamaley. Her trials began on June 18. Several volunteers took part in them.
The first batch of volunteers will be released on July 15, the second-on July 20. The Russian government provides for the possibility of mass use of the vaccine from August 14.
Patients will have to receive treatment in two stages. This will prevent a person from re-infecting with the coronavirus.
