There is a temporary exhibition dedicated to the world health day in the historical and local history Museum of the Lebap velayat.

The exhibition, organized jointly with the General Directorate of Sports and youth policy, shows exhibits from the Museum’s Fund and sports institutions. It displays sports equipment, clothing, cups and other prizes won by athletes of the velayat in different years, photos of health facilities built in recent years, and medical technology. A special place is occupied by books and facts about the development of health care in Turkmenistan, medicinal herbs growing on the territory of the country. The work on the preparation of licorice root — one of the types of medicinal herbs — in the agro-industrial complex “Buyan”was reflected. Products made from these raw materials are also displayed.
