Russia supports the early resumption of air services with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Alexander Neradko, the head of Rosaviation, sent a letter to the country’s Deputy Prime Minister, Tatyana Golikova. It says that it is time to take the first steps to restore air links with the CIS countries.

Restoring communications, while complying with all the rules for preventing the spread of the pandemic, will help overcome the economic difficulties encountered by airlines and States. In addition, the resumption of communications with the CIS countries is safer than with Europe.

Whether Russian tourists will be accepted in other countries or not is currently an open question.
