Junior football team “Lebap” became the champion of Turkmenistan for the third time.

This became known by the results of meetings between football teams, which played young men born in 2002. There were no equals to Lebap athletes in the games.

8 teams from all velayats of Turkmenistan and the city of Ashgabat took part in the competition. The national team of the Lebap velayat beat the teams of the Akhal, Balkan velayats, the city of Ashgabat, and reached the semifinals. Then “Lebap” played with “Olympus” Ashgabat. The main time of this match ended in a draw, and the outcome of the game was decided by penalties. Here the Lebap players were more accurate than their rivals. At the final game, the team “Lebap” met with the team of the Mary velayat and, having won it, became the champion of Turkmenistan for the third time in a row.
