Yes, representatives of the famous women’s wrestling school from the Eastern region of our state have again confirmed their high level. We will remind, from here came the Champions and prize-winners of many major international competitions in judo, Sambo, Turkmen goresh, Kurash, belt wrestling and Alysh. Suffice it to mention the names of the widths of Kabaevoj, Gulnar Haitbaeva and Gulbadam Babamuratova. And now their young countrymen are increasingly asserting themselves in free-style wrestling.

At the current competitions, as well as at the previous ones, the tone was set by the students of the coach from the city on the Amu Darya Bayram Aliyev. They confidently took the top five places in their divisions. Here are their names: Nigara Dzhumaniyazova (45 kg), Lachin Annamuradova (48 kg), Irina Sadykova (54 kg) and Madina Aripova (58 kg). We should also mention the daughter of an experienced mentor, Leyla Aliyeva. She not only dominated the most prestigious heavyweight division over 76 kilograms, but also became the national champion for the third time. She also won the Turkmenistan Cup and a bronze medal at the 2017 Asian Games in Ashgabat in Kurash wrestling.

The first two places on the account of the students are also taken by the coach from the velayat center Rozdzhuma meredova. They were won by Jamila Annamuradova (51 kg) and Yulduz khudayberdieva (76 kg). In the other weights, success was celebrated by students studying in the capital Naziya Dzhorayeva (62 kg), Oguljan Egemberdieva (68 kg) and Dzhemal Ovliyakuliyeva (72 kg). They are also pupils of the Lebap women’s wrestling school and repeated national Champions.

After a long journey, athletes from Balkanabat came to Turkmenabat and were able to become one of the winners. Did Leila Ashirova, Zeynep Alimamedova, Janet Ildarova and Gulzada Ilamanova that working under the guidance of Perata Galganov.

– The finished championship should be considered as a qualifying competition for the national team of our country, – said its senior coach Orazberdy Shaberdyev. – They are also intended to promote women’s freestyle wrestling – an Olympic sport and therefore especially prestigious. It is gratifying that all the winners of the state championship are young and can, with proper work on themselves, significantly add to the technical and tactical actions and speed of their implementation, as well as-in physical terms. In the future, we can talk about the performance of our best “freestyle athletes” in the international arena…
