As in the whole of Turkmenistan, in the Lebap velayat, on the occasion of International women’s day, women are presented with monetary gifts in a solemn atmosphere.

Awarding is conducted according to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, which is prescribed in the period from 1 to 6 March 2020 on the occasion of International women’s day in a ceremonial setting, to present on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan cash gifts in the amount of sixty manats to women working at enterprises, institutions and organizations, irrespective of forms of ownership, as well as receiving a pension and state benefits, students, post-graduate and clinical residency with a separation from manufacture, students of courses of The Academy of public service under the President of Turkmenistan with a period of study of at least two academic years, students, Schoolgirls and pupils of preschool institutions.

These monetary gifts are given to women every year on the eve of International women’s day.
